Group Pet Training Classes
We offer multiple group pet training classes in a working environment. When the weather is nice our classes are held outside in our spacious field or parking lot. In inclement weather we have an indoor training area with rubber matted floors.
Obedience/On-Leash Classes
(six week sessions)
Pre-K (under 6 months)
Curriculum:
- Heel (controlled walking at handlers side)
- Sit
- Beginners down
- Beginners come
- Beginners leave it
- No/Yes (good)
- Release (ok, thank you)
- Socialization with other dogs
- Elementary Obedience/On leash $200/six sessions
Basic (6 months and older)
Curriculum:
- Look for attention
- Heel (controlled walking at handlers side)
- Recall (“come, “here”)
- Sit
- Down
- Stay (place)
- Leave it
- Reward marker (yes, thank you, good)
- Release (ok, thank you)
- Socialize with other dogs
Primary
Prerequisite: Basic
Curriculum:
- Greeting a stranger with your dog
- Look for attention
- Sit and stay at a distance
- Advanced healing
- Go lay down
- Recall at a distaance
- Touch
- Leave it
- Socialize with other dogs
Obedience/Off-Leash Classes
(six week sessions)
Secondary
Prerequisite: Basic and Primary
This class is held primarily on weekends or daylight hours. All commands are reviewed in an advanced setting. Call or email us for class schedule or to reserve a spot in this class.
