Phoenixville Dog Training
Our Dog Training Philosophy
Our certified dog trainer combines the most successful Phoenixville Dog Training concepts from classical conditioning as well as reward and correction-based training for a well-rounded program that delivers results.
- Classical conditioning pairs something that previously provided a neutral stimulus (such as the sound of a clicker) with an unconditioned stimulus (the taste of food).
- Reward and correction-based training offers rewards when a dog does something correctly and the absence of rewards when they do it incorrectly. We do NOT use any harsh physical corrections. In some cases we use mild “touches” to simulate an instinctual correction.
If you want to train your dog, it starts with learning to understand each other. We teach you how to communicate with your dog by using rewards and signals; and how to read their body language to understand them. Once you can communicate, you can let your dog know when they are doing something right or wrong, accelerating their learning, and keeping stress low and motivation high.
Our humane training methods are tailored to you and your dog. We also specialize in behavior modification training, particularly dogs with aggression. An evaluation of any dog is available for clients considering training. Evaluations can be scheduled Monday to Thursday from 9 to 3, Saturday and Sunday by appointment only.

Boarding School for Fast Results
Do you want to accelerate your dog’s learning curve? If so, then boarding school is an excellent choice because when it comes to dog obedience training, consistency counts.
Private Tutor
Do you want to stay involved in your dog’s training and focus on specific training goals at your own pace? Then our one-on-one training sessions with you and your dog are perfect for you.
Grades K-9
Our K-9 program, daycare and private lessons, provides outlets for dogs to burn up excess energy, socialize with other canines, stimulate their brains, and learn new skills. It’s like grade school for dogs.
Summer School
Summer school is available from May through September and most classes are held outdoors. Each group dog training class lasts six weeks, meeting once a week on the same day and time, unless there is a cancellation.
To create the optimal learning environment we break classes into grades based on the dog’s age and skill level. We hold a class as long as two dogs have been signed up for it and the dog’s caregiver has paid the deposit.
If a class is canceled due to weather or instructor illness, we will reschedule it. Call for information on when the next classes will be held.
